Faith for Rights Training Package
Summary
The Faith for Rights Training Package has been developed to provide detailed guidance and training materials for facilitators who want to plan, design and deliver training on the Faith for Rights framework using the #Faith4Rights toolkit. The overall learning objective of the training package is to provide participants with the tools to implement the content and principles found in the #Faith4Rights toolkit in their respective communities.
This training package is designed to be implemented using a participatory approach and provides guidance for the preparation of training events lasting between one and three days. Instructions are provided on how to plan and deliver the different sessions. The training package includes slide presentations, handouts, links to video content, facilitator instructions and printable training materials.
0. Overview and Planning Documents
The overview documents are the starting point for planning and developing a Faith for Rights training event, and they should be read in the following order:
1. The Overview document provides an overview of the training package, including the learning objectives and the content for each section of the training.
2. The Guide to Planning a Faith for Rights Training Event document explains how to plan a training event, including the methodology, structure, and suggested agenda for a training event.

· 2. Guide to Planning a Faith for Rights Training Event_F4R Training Pkg (MS Word)
When planning a Faith for Rights training event, the introductory sessions featured below (Introduction Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3) are required for any training event. Facilitators can then choose to add any of the Faith for Rights Modules featured below (modules 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 14 and 16). If a one-day training event is being planned, time will only allow to choose only one module. Module 1: Freedom of Conscience is strongly recommended for a one-day event. Multi-day events should make use of multiple modules based on needs determined by the facilitator.

5. Practice Session
The purpose of the Practice Session is to allow participants to have hands-on experience in planning and developing their own Faith for Rights training event to benefit their own community. Participants may work individually or in small groups. Options for practice sessions include: A one-hour practice session at the end of a one-day training event, an extended two-hour practice session at the end of a multi-day training event, or multiple one-hour practice sessions during a multi-day training event. The facilitator should choose the format that is most beneficial to the participants based on needs and context. However, including at least one practice session is required during the course of any Faith for Rights training event.
